future generations to enjoy. There are lots of ways for you to participate, you can be as active as you wish:

- Be a voice for the trail, on behalf of users and as an advocate with the City of Oakland.
- Participate in development of educational programs to teach our children to become future stewards.
- Contribute ideas and labor to the continuing naturalization of the trail. Remove invasive species, plant natives.
- Join a committee and help with a particular project or start a new one!
- Get involved in your community and get to know other civic minded neighbors.
